Lessons from Atlantis

Book Review by Dana Taylor

It’s been a few thousand years since the Greek philosopher and historian, Plato, mentioned the lost civilization of Atlantis. Was it an actual place or merely fiction? It seems today, more than ever, Atlantis piques curiosity and fascination. Coupled with that is the emergence of interest in the lost continent of Lemuria. This month GAIA talk show host, Regina Meredith (OPEN MINDS), featured A Hynotist’s Journey to Atlantis: Eye Witness Accounts of Our Ancient History by Sarah Breskman Cosme as the Book Club choice at ReginaMeredith.com.

Sarah Beskman Cosme is a past life regressionist, having studied with Dr. Brian Weiss and Delores Cannon. Working to earn her certification in the Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique, (QHHT), she asked a casual friend, Jen Sullivan, to be her hypnosis subject. Jen, a journalist by profession, had never been interested in metaphysics or spirituality, but a sudden health challenge gave her the desire to explore QHHT. Jen’s initial session amazed them both when she revealed a long life begun in Lemuria and ending in the destruction of Atlantis. Sarah and Jen began a series of sessions, primarily focused on Jen’s life as a Lemurian ruler, taken prisoner by Atlanteans after they destroy her homeland.

The dialog format between therapist and client, reveals the cultures and histories of the ancient societies. Material for the book evolved over several years. As Sarah grew her regression practice, she discovered many clients revealed lifetimes in Atlantis or Lemuria. She weaves memories of others to broaden the insights offered by Jen’s recollections.

As Regina Meredith notes at the beginning of the Book Club video, past life memories are limited to the experiences of the clients in their lifetimes. They don’t suddenly become “all-knowing” once they have passed from the earth plane. So, getting a consensus of facts or timelines on Atlantis would require a compilation of hundreds, or perhaps, thousands of people’s past-life regressions.

Jen’s story could be turned into a novel. Her early life in the gentle matriarchal society of Lemuria, with her mother and grandmother in the royal residence; the short-lived romance; her daughter’s birth. Then come the deceitful Atlanteans, hoping to find a cure for the virus that is decimating their society. Her natural immunity and Lemurian telepathic gifts make her a target for the cold-hearted Atlanteans. Her long years as a prisoner in Atlantis gives us insights into a society focused on technology and achievement, with little compassion. Their destruction is a cautionary tale, to be sure.

In fact, Jen Sullivan has written an account of her story in her own book, which is on my TBR list. Indeed, after reading the Cosme book, I’m sure many will want to read expanded version in Child of the Universe.

The comparisons between ancient Atlantis and modern society are plentiful. Especially chilling is the experimental vaccine to override the virus that seems so successful at first, but leads to generational genetic deformities and anomalies. Perhaps another cautionary tale.

It’s a fascinating read, especially for those who feel the pull to Atlantis and Lemuria. Meredith has often featured guests who propose thousands of people now on the planet experienced past lives in those ancient cultures, often suffering from past-life trauma. This may be the era of healing. Or it may be another cycle of destruction. Humanity always has the choice.

A Hypnotist’s Journey to Atlantis and A Child of the Universe are available at Amazon. Here is an interview between Regina Meredith and Sarah Breskman Cosme on YouTube for more information.

Angels Riff on Conspiracy Theories

“What is truth?” The perennial search for truth seems to be magnified in this communication age. My Facebook feed is filled with a dizzying variety of flavors of truth. It’s not simply chocolate or vanilla anymore, but a real Baskin and Robbins 31 flavors of “truth” served in single, double, and triple scoops. On Facebook I’ve collected as friends an array of conservatives, liberals, progressives, lightworkers, and non-conformists. Their posts give me an overview of opinions and emotions driving our society. I’m sure my posts also reveal my personal biases.
I have many friends in the energy healing lightworker category, what with me being a Reiki practitioner and Supernal Adventurer and all. Yes, I admit a fascination with the “out of this world,” including, but not limited to, UFOs, angels, crop circles, and quantum physics. I’m not a fan of Big Pharma, Big Oil, or Big Agra. Natural healing and organic eating are my jam.
Where do I stand on conspiracy theories? Historically, some conspiracy theories turn out to be valid, i.e., the Catholic Church covering up decades, perhaps, centuries, of sexual abuse. But for those who still believe the moon landing was a hoax of Hollywood special effects, there’s simply too much evidence to the contrary.
Conspiracy theories are seductive and breed distrust. They can also be true. They can also be false. This year it seems to me many have been seduced in alternate directions. Discord and suspicion is being seeded across all communication channels. Fears are being fed. Perhaps it’s time to step back and exercise discernment and common sense.
The following interview between well-known Gaia personality, Regina Meredith, and archangel channel, Belinda Womack, is certainly high on the woo-woo scale. Womack has been interviewed several times on Meredith’s Open Minds show at Gaia. She gives herself over to angelic entities to relay messages to us humans experiencing the planetary classroom known as Earth. Womack contacted Meredith saying the angels wanted to address conspiracy theories and how they are affecting the collective consciousness. I’m sharing it here because much of it resonated with me. Regina has certainly received a lot of blow-back in the YouTube comments, along with some support. I’m sort of placing a bull’s eye target on my chest for argument by sharing the interview. But, avoiding all controversy is cowardly. For me, the ultimate message of the angels is to promote love and connection, not fear and isolation. But, judge for yourself.

Streaming Entertainment Options for Spiritual Seekers

  by Dana Taylor

I don’t know about you, but finding uplifting and interesting reading and viewing material is a real challenge. Standard news sources follow the journalistic motto, “If it bleeds, it leads,” sponsored by the mighty powers of Big Pharma. The social media has turned into a shouting match of ideologies.

The hundreds of movies and shows now available on my television are mostly filled with murders, betrayal, greed, sex, and violence. Or stupidity, lots of stupidity. Even history is mostly about wars. There are exceptions, like Cosmos or the Planet Earth series, but they are few and far between.

So, what’s the supernal adventurer to do? Fortunately, there are some cyberspace alternatives, if you know where to look.

GAIA TV

GAIA evolved from the work-out video producers, GAIAM, whose DVD’s  have offered yoga, Tai Chi, and meditation to a growing audience since the 1990’s. Today GAIA is available online via a monthly subscription. The collection of yoga videos has expanded into all areas of mind, body, and spirit digital entertainment. GAIA produces several series, plus offers a variety of films and documentaries with supernatural, health, or esoteric topics.

SHOW HOSTS:

Gregg BradenA bestselling author, scientist, and popular speaker, Braden offers Missing Links at GAIA ~ “Connect the missing links between science and spirituality to reveal a new understanding of humanity’s history, the origins of civilization and the power of our heart’s intelligence.” Braden expands the paradigms of modern thinking.

David Wilcock: Wilcock began as a sort of boy wonder, smart and fascinated by all manner of supernatural mysteries. He seems to have a fixation on “cover-ups,” but his shows can certainly be thought-provoking. Wisdom Teachings and Cosmic Disclosure: Inside the Secret Space Program are both very popular with esoteric “truth seekers.” Personally, a little of Wilcock and his side-kick, Corey Goode, go a long way for me. I think they are both sincere in sharing their viewpoints and experiences. They can simply be a bit “out there” for me. But, I invite you to judge for yourself.

George Noory: Inspired by the popular wee-hour radio show, Coast to Coast AM, current host George Noory, created Beyond Belief for GAIA. Interviews with guests on topics such as extraterrestrials, energy healing, ancient aliens, psychic experiences, paranormal activity and the like make for mind-bending conversations.

Regina Meredith: Open Minds features many of the same subject as Beyond Belief, but Meredith brings a more investigative reporter vibe to her show. Many of her guests are highly educated scholars or professionals who offer their experiences and insights on their fields of expertise. Her shows focus on raising consciousness and new trends in esoteric thinking. What her guests may lack in entertainment value, they make up for in credibility.

Lisa GarrInspirations with Lisa Garr interviews many of the heavy-hitters in the Consciousness community–Marianne Williamson, Barbara Marx Hubbard, Denise Linn, Joe Dispenza and many more.

SERIES ~ As GAIA has grown in popularity, so has its ability to produce more costly shows. My two personal favorites are Ancient Civilizations, which shows many fascinating archeological sites, and Deep Space, exploring a dark side of the modern space race.  There are many other shows and films to chose from covering a wide range of subjects.

I’ve felt my yearly subscription cost of $95 a modest investment in enlightening entertainment. See the whole line up at GAIA.COM

KRYON

Lee Carroll has been channeling the entity, Kryon, for nearly thirty years. I discovered the FREE AUDIO page at Kryon.com three years ago and began listening to the many years of messages that are available there all the time. Kryon is a spiritual teacher who made his presence known to Southern Californian Lee Carroll after the 1987 harmonic convergence. His mission is to help guide humanity into the “new age,” a now over-used and misunderstood term. According to Kryon, when humanity avoided nuclear annihilation, he and many other spiritual teachers began reaching out to humanity to guide us through a transitional 38 year cycle.

Like thousands of other people, I find the Kryon material mind-expanding, thought provoking, and most importantly, encouraging. In moments when I despair over election results or yet another mass shooting event, Kryon messages help keep me focus on doing my part to be the Light.

I had the opportunity to attend a Kryon conference in December of 2017 and found Lee Carroll to be a very regular person. (Read my post Returning to Lemuria with Kryon.) He mingled among the attendees with no air of celebrity. He even fixed the audio equipment. There was no fleecing of the sheep with expensive workshops making grandiose promises. In fact, Lee had nothing personally to sell in the product boutique.

He has recently expanded exposure of Kryon material with a YouTube Channel, new videos, and some interviews. Kryon mentions that his messages will be heard for decades to come, long after Lee is no longer his partner on the planet. Lee appears to be setting up information outlets to make that vision a reality for future generations.

STREAMING FOR THE SOUL

This site was introduced to me by Lee Carroll, who is using it produce events and a new series he’s entitled, BEGINNINGS. These are friendly chats with Lee’s esoteric pals, who often teach and lecture with him. He interviews them about their life stories–their Beginnings. Two chats are currently available. The first one features Gregg Braden (watch for free) and the second explores the very interesting life of Pragreet Harris. Harris channels an entity known as Alcazar and is known for building Stargates. He brought a Stargate to the Lemuria Conference I attended, so I was able to experience the energy in person. There was definitely something to it!

STREAMING FOR THE SOUL offers a variety of videos taped at various conferences around the globe. The site is strongly associated with IANDS (International Association for Near Death Studies, Inc.) Talks from both the 2015 & 2016 are available. Other subjects covered are Energy Workers, Alternative Perspectives, and Inspirational Speeches.

STREAMING FOR THE SOUL offers a free month trial period and charges $9.99 monthly thereafter. I’m currently in my trial month period. I’m two NDE’s in. I’ll have to explore the other subjects to see if I intend to keep paying every month.

*****

So, friends, there you have it–some viewing options for the Supernal Adventurer. You can explore ET’s, crop circles, alternative medicine, channeling, spirituality, NDE’s, ancient civilizations, and even Big Foot. Enjoy!

Supernally Yours,

Dana Taylor

GAIAM TV For the Supernal Adventurer

th-2I recently purchased an Amazon Fire Stick that turned my plain old basic cable into a major entertainment center. Unfortunately, despite having thousands of Amazon video, NetFlix, PBS, and TED Talks to choose from, I still wasn’t feeling the love. There’s only so much murder, sex, profanity, lectures, animal videos, and stupid human behavior I can take.

What’s a Supernal Girl to do? Download GAIAMTV.COM! Gaiam has grown from a fitness video company to a major producer of transformational programming. For the same $8 monthly cost as Netflix, you can view the quirky, quantum, and cosmic. There is also a variety of full length movies with spiritual themes. Plus, the Gaiam Yoga library is available to stream, which is great. No more moving to the same DVD over and over until it freezes and dies.

Some of the programs are unpolished and low budget, but slick isn’t always better. Intriguing information can be delivered on a white board with markers and a brilliant mind. If you don’t like one program, you can jump to another.

Choose from:

Gaiam_Open-Minds_Regina-MeredithSo far I have enjoyed Open Minds with Regina Meredith the most. She is a good interviewer, sort of the New Age Diane Sawyer. I watched a mind-blowing conversation on walk-ins and another about a dark pyramid buried in Alaska that could power a country the size of Canada. Fascinating!

Let me state that I don’t believe everything I see as absolute truth and some things are too far out of my current world view to embrace, but exploring new ideas keeps life interesting.

So, if you’re tired of the murder, mayhem, and mindless on other platforms, give GAIAM TV a try.

Have a joyful day!
