Activate Chakras and Merkaba Meditation

by Dana Taylor
The latest addition to my library of meditations is entitled Opening Chakras and Activating the Merkaba. For some weeks in my morning meditations, I began seeing a human figure at the center of a vibrant ever-moving geometric pattern. I recognized the energy field as the Merkaba, (also spelled Merkabah), an ancient Hebrew word for our energetic body, a term that literally means mer (light) ka (spirit) ba (body).
The Merkaba is often represented as two intersecting pyramids, base to base. Hebrew scriptures portray it as a chariot to heaven. A metaphorical understanding is the Merkaba “takes you to heaven.” Personally, I get the impression that our human earthly vehicle is powered by the Source energy perceived as the double tetrahedron Merkaba and chakra system. The YouTube metaphysical maven, Teal Swan, offers this overview of the Merkaba.

Though slow in coming, more people are beginning to see themselves as energetic life forms. Indeed, everything can be perceived in energetic patterns. One of the newest series on GAIA TV is Sacred Geometry: Spiritual Science with Robert J. Gilbert, founder of the Vesica Institute Holistic Studies of Biogeometry. The show takes a deep dive into the study of the human energy fields. Gilbert is one of a growing number of scientists and scholars bringing together ancient symbols and modern technology to further understand the human experience.
The Opening Chakras and Activating the Merkaba Meditation is a tool to help you “turn on your lights.” Activating your personal energy grid raises your frequency, which can have a beneficial effect on your health, mood, relationships and connection to the divine. I hope you enjoy it.
Bright Blessings–
Dana
