Jesus, My Autobiography: A Review

Remember when everyone was wearing WWJD (What Would Jesus Do) bracelets? Now, if you believe in channeling nonphysical beings, you might be able to ask him through Canadian medium Tina Louise Spalding.

I know for many, an autobiography from Jesus is beyond the realm of plausibility. But, for the thousands of students of A Course in Miracles, the idea that JC may have picked a new person to communicate through may not seem that far fetched.

Ms. Spalding began channeling Jesus in 2014, at least that’s the claim. She has been channeling a soul group called Ananda since 2012. She has quietly published Jesus, My Autobiography, which I recently read. Am I convinced it’s the real deal? Well, Jesus has not personally contacted me to verify his authorship. However, I found the material very intriguing. In an earlier era Ms. Spalding would have certainly been killed for blasphemy, heresy, or sorcery. I would have likewise met some hateful, grisly demise for simply reading the book. Fortunately, we live in more free-thinking times.

From the Preface: I talk about the truth of my birth and the truth of my life. I cover some stories that are recounted in the Bible and tell you the true story of those events. I describe my personal traits, my human traits, and I define what I am, who I am, and why these things happened. You will be able to understand the truth, and you will begin this reconditioning, this retooling of your mind — of your thoughts and beliefs — on this subject of my life, my meaning, and my purpose, for it is a long process. The time is ripe. The need for a spiritual revolution is here. — Jesus

Written in the first person, Jesus covers his childhood and his travels during ages fourteen to thirty-three not mentioned in the Bible. Whether “true” or not, Jesus comes across as a very human person: a curious boy, a dissatisfied youth, a seeker of adventure and spiritual enlightenment. He reveals his great love and subsequent marriage to Mary Magdelene. A very spiritually evolved man, his message of Love didn’t change the world nearly as much as he’d hoped it would. He challenges the established church and states much of the Bible was twisted to promote a political agenda. (He’s not the first to make that claim.)

Mainstream Christian believers will be utterly uncomfortable with this Jesus, who denies his unique Divinity as the only Son of God. However, millennia of worshipers has had its effect:

Chapter Fifteen excerpt: There are many people who have offered up their lives as sacrifices to me, and what I say is this: The focus of human consciousness on one being shifts that being’s consciousness. Because I have had such adoration and love from so many — the prayers and focused consciousness of so many millions of people over such a long time have indeed shifted my consciousness far beyond that which I could have done by myself. So you can see that the inadvertent belief in my divinity has caused that very thing to arise in some ways.

I have become so enlivened by these wonderful prayers. I have become so connected to so many humans through their willingness to speak to me. I have been given a lot of responsibility in the nonphysical to offer truth out to beings who speak to me, commune with me on a consciousness level, and try to meld with me in prayer.

The details of his earthly existence over two thousand years ago are not the main meat of the manuscript. The most inspirational parts speak to modern spiritual seekers. He covers many subjects including:

Jesus, My Autobiography feels very much like a companion piece to A Course in Miracles. He claims authorship of ACIM and recommends people read it. The message of forgiveness, love, and compassion is the same.

Whether the book is authentic or fictionalized, it presents a wise, spiritually advanced Jesus who is far more appealing than the judgmental Jesus often portrayed in religious groups. It’s certainly a fresh look at Jesus, the man, and is chocked full of wise advice for modern times.

A Spiritual Himalayan Adventure

Into The Land of Snows by Ellis Nelson

This YA novel centers on sixteen-year-old Blake, a typical American kid dealing with his parents’ recent divorce with minor rebellion and simmering resentment. His Dad, a doctor and adventurer, has just landed an assignment working as a physician at the base camp on Mt. Everest. When Blake’s Mom declares him out of control, Blake finds himself dispatched to spend the summer with Dad in the Himalayas. Blake’s hopes of finally having time with his Dad are soon dashed when an avalanche makes the area too dangerous for Blake to remain. Instead, he finds himself on a cross country journey with a wise Sherpa named Ang, destination Katmandu. Soon Blake finds himself a stranger in a strange land of monks, yetis, mountain animals, and blizzards. All his concepts of reality and illusion are challenged with each step on the twisting paths.

Ellis Nelson weaves a well-crafted coming-of-age tale, making the cultures and mountainous setting come alive in the reader’s mind. Recommended for the YA audience and beyond.

From the author: How This Book Came Into the World

Several years ago I had a particularly bad year. My father died, my son was hospitalized, and I came face to face with my own health crisis. All in one year. My illness effectively took me out of the world and focused my attention inward. I returned to basics and found my interest in Buddhism waiting for me. Silent, I think, since at least my teenage years.

I began taking classes offered in faraway Dharamsala, India. Thanks to the internet, I was able to study with a master who had fled Chinese-occupied Tibet to follow His Holiness, the Dalai Lama into exile in 1959. Listening to Geshe Sonam Rinchen’s patient lectures aided my understanding of Tibetan Buddhism. That along with my friendship with a young monk in India helped me to process and write, Into the Land of Snows. The novel explores many of the themes I was exposed to as I learned Eastern concepts.

The process of the inward journey continues for me. Living in the material world is not easy. I know the majority of readers will read the book as an adventure in a foreign land, but I hope the book finds a few fellow spiritual travelers.

The World According to Kryon

My Kryon education continues. Since I moved to Hawaii in February, I’ve had a lot of me time. As synchronicity would have it, I discovered the wealth of Kryon free audios at Kryon.com. Kryon is a nonphysical angelic teacher who has been channeling through Lee Carroll for over twenty-five years. As I’ve walked the Manoa Valley streets or sat on my lanai gazing at the rainforest hills, Kryon has been my otherworldly companion, thanks to the magic of iPhones.

Grasping the messages of cosmic creation, physics, human development, spirituality and beyond is fascinating and challenging. Over the years, Carroll has written 13 books compiling the messages into cohesive order to help us mere humans make sense out of it all. Now, with Carroll’s blessing and Kryon’s collaboration, Australian author Monika Muranyi has researched the Kryon messages and woven two books together, The Gaia Effect and The Human Akash.

The Gaia Effect: The Remarkable System of Collaboration between Gaia and Humanity

This book is making me look at earth and nature in a whole new light. Gaia is the term for a spiritual intelligence of the planet earth. Kryon paints a picture of the earth as part of the cosmos, connected by other galactic intelligence. Our sense of history is minuscule compared to the viewpoint of an ageless nonphysical being. The Human Akash: A Discovery of the Blue Print Within

The Akashic Records have gained attention in recent years. Coming from the Sanskrit, Akash or Akasha refers to space and the essence of all things in the material world. Edgar Cayce referred to the Akashic Records in his health readings in the first half of the 20th century, sparking interest in metaphysical thinkers. Indeed, Kryon provides detailed information defining the whole Akashic system that involves the earth and everyone who has ever dwelled here. In The Human Akash you’ll read about the Cave of Creation, the Crystalline Grid and many fantastical new concepts. The core idea is the notion that our DNA stores Akashic information, hence the subtitle referring to the “Blue Print Within.” Much of “junk” DNA is tied to our Akash, plus we each have energetic DNA entangled in our energy body that can’t be seen by the human eye under a microscope. The Akashic Field entangles individuals, the earth, and the cosmos together.

Much of what makes us unique is DNA Akashic information from countless lifetimes. Kryon talks a lot about “mining your Akash,” finding all the talents and strengths from previous incarnations to enhance the current one. That’s an intriguing idea.

The Akashic DNA also explains the extraordinary children being born on the planet. As we enter the new cosmos age, the DNA is changing. Children will “remember” more of their past lives and tap into talents. They will develop and learn faster partly because they will access their Akashic information in an unprecedented manner.

The Human Akash will challenge your understanding of how the world works.

Ultimately, Kryon is an encourager. He knows “old souls” have been through a lot of struggle. They have their doubts that humankind will ever quit repeating a pattern of war and global destruction. Kryon says we’re on a new path, creating a better world than we can even imagine.

I hope he is right. At any rate, the books and audio messages are food for thought..and hope for the future.

And so it is.

“How 3-D of You”–Kryon Speaks

“Greetings, dear ones, I am Kryon of Magnetic Service.”

I must confess. I have entered my “Kryon stage.” The work of Lee Carroll and his other-worldly partner, Kryon, is not new. In fact, Carroll has been channelling an entity known as Kryon since the late 1980’s. I’ve been aware of them for a long time and even read some very early works. They made their biggest splash, so far, with coining the term “Indigo Children” circa 1998.

I’m a little late to the game starting with book number 13, The Recalibration of Humanity, but there is no clock where Kryon exists, so maybe I’m right on time. As synchronicity would have it, my Supernal Friend, Sue, and I had been discussing all the fuss over the 2012 Shift and wondered if it was a fad that had simply fizzled, or if something had, indeed, shifted. Then, the latest Kryon book popped onto my Kindle screen, addressing that very subject. Where is humanity now in the great cosmic scheme?

According to Kryon, (and many others, like Gregg Braden in Fractal Time), we are in the process of passing from one cosmic age to another as we travel the huge spiral of the Milky Way. New energies and frequencies are entering our plane of existence. There is a “Recalibration” transpiring in human beings and the Earth itself, aka “Gaia.”

The material comes from channelled sessions during 2012-2013 and compiled by Carroll. It covers areas of quantum physics, human nature, metaphysics, spirituality and beyond. It’s my meat and potatoes. I love this stuff, even when I don’t totally “get” it; somewhere in my soul it resonates.

At the heart of the Kryon material there is hope for the future and love for the human race. It is Light Worker 101 training for “The New Normal,” where the connection to multidimensional living is taken for granted.

Energy Medicine From The Stars Revealed

Okay, Spiritual Adventurers, hang onto your seats. My next posts will be “out of this world.” It’s tricky to share about subjects like channelling or ET encounters and maintain any kind of credibility. Yet, I’ve lately run into some information that touches those realms and I believe is worth sharing. I’m simply passing it along and you can decide whether it resonates as something of value for you.

Today I want to tell you about E.D.I.N.A: Energy Medicine from the Stars! Shamanism for the 21st Century and Beyond by Lois J. Wetzel, MFA.

I‘ve crossed cyber paths with Lois quite often in the past couple of years. I’ve reviewed her books on Akashic Records here (fascinating!). She is the founder of the TISBA Awards (The Indie Spiritual Book Awards). We’ve spoken on the phone. I am always impressed by her wisdom, humility, and courage to reveal her experiences to the world. She mentioned in passing that EDINA is her best seller and I finally had time to read it on a plane ride across the country.

In writing about EDINA and making it freely available to anyone in the world, Lois again displays an amazing generosity. We appear to be crossing into an age when communication between realms is becoming more common. Lois is an example of someone with beyond-the-usual abilities to communicate with other entities. In the case of her EDINA experience, in 1998 while working with Reiki energy, she realized other multidimensional Light Beings were present. They were tall and blue-grey. Over the course of time they would be identified as The Ankenash, who have their origins from the planet Sirius B. Working with Lois over the course of many years, they have established an energy healing system. Lois is the voice of The Ankenash in these incipient years of development.

EDINA: Energy Medicine from the Stars offers the background of Lois’ involvement and then the fundamentals of using the technique. While this probably sounds quite strange to many, as an energy healer and praying person like myself, the presence of multi-dimensional beings and working with them is a way of life. In Christian circles, we comfortably call upon Jesus, angels, and the Holy Spirit.

Thousands of Reiki practitioners are working across the globe, often in hospitals. And what is Reiki energy, but a transmission from another dimension? Usui Sensei received the Reiki energy and symbols while on a spiritual mountain retreat. They are passed on through a series of attunements and symbols.

EDINA is similar. Lois provides step by step instructions for accessing the EDINA energy and working with the Ankenash, provides links to the sacred geometric symbols, and has even recorded a meditation to center the student for the initiation process.

This resonated with me for a couple of reasons. First, the identification of the “tall blue-grey Light Beings.” For several years I have sensed the presence of a similar being during healing sessions. I just thought of it as my Blue Angel. But, it sure bears a striking resemblance to Lois’ descriptions of the Ankenash. Secondly, I’ve received impressions that I would be working with sacred geometry. When I downloaded the initiation symbols, they intrigued me. Were these what I have been waiting for?

My Supernal Friend, Sue, joined me in this adventure. As “luck” would have it, I was staying at her house and we could initiate each other. We printed out the symbols and taped them up around the room. We followed the instructions, which were very similar to Reiki attunements. The symbols fascinate me. Though drawn on simple graph paper with pencil, they can appear to move and gain dimension when stared at for a few minutes. I’m sure an artist rendering could really make them striking.

What happened after the initiations? Any ET encounters? No. However, the common physical after effects of an attunement were definitely felt. Cleansing and fatigue for a couple of days as our bodies adjusted to the new vibrations. I haven’t been working with clients lately, since I just moved to a new state. Time will tell if there are enhanced effects in the healing sessions. My long distance healing sessions seem to be more focused, informative and powerful.

EDINA is in its early stages. The core group of healers are being developed. Lois is doing her best to impart information and develop a system that is viable for practitioners across the globe.

As the saying goes, when the student is ready, the teacher will appear. For some, it may start with purchasing a copy of E.D.I.N.A: Energy Healing from the Stars!
