I’m happy to support fellow author, Ellis Nelson, and her new release of the middle school adventure, Down the Treacle Well. It’s been fun to watch this release unfold. Here is a short review:
Down the Treacle Well combines time travel, fantasy, and psychic phenomena in this fun adventure to Wonderland of Victorian England. While visiting Oxford, Ben and Kyle, two young American brothers, are tumbled back in time to 1864 to meet Reverend Charles Dodson, who later generations know as author, Lewis Carroll. It turns out Wonderland is a parallel universe and Alice has gone missing there. As the boys get drafted into rescuing the ever-curious, Alice, we get to meet many of the beloved Wonderland characters. Ben and Kyle each have psychic gifts and much of the character development revolves around Ben learning to embrace his special abilities. Author Ellis Nelson weaves the venerated Wonderland traditions with 21st century characters and ideas into a fun “what-happens-next” page turner. Highly recommended for the middle school reader.
Ellis posted short YouTube videos along the path the publication. I especially enjoyed this one that gives a lot of background information to the original Alice in Wonderland tales. Also, Ellis is engaging to watch.

Unfolding world events can be maddening and disheartening. Is there any way to make a material difference when we see injustice, corruption, greed, hate and destruction? We can sign petitions, march in protest, send money to worthy organizations, post meaningful memes on Facebook and Instagram (one of my personal favorites.) But, it all feels pretty impotent.
My best hope as a person of faith and student of metaphysics, is the idea that group intention in higher dimensions can make a material difference in the way people think and behave. It’s the 100th Monkey Effect, based on a 1950’s study of monkeys living on Japanese islands. The practice of washing their sweet potatoes in a stream began with a youngster and spread by observation and repetition throughout one island. At some point, there appeared to be a critical mass of lifting the primates’ group consciousness across to other islands where those monkeys began washing their food.
A 2007 study by Marharesi University showed that a significant decrease in city crime can be observed when 1% of the population will engage in deliberate meditation to mitigate the local violence. Jesus spoke of the power of group prayer in Matthew 18:19-20 Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am among them.
So, it seems to me as someone who has seen the power of prayer, meditation, healing energy, distance healing, etc., the best I can do on a global scale is join with others in heavenly realms and set an intention of Higher Consciousness. With that in mind, last year I asked for help in co-creating a meditation for world peace. There are no countries, cities, or nationalities named. No politics involved. No timeline. Mary Magdelene came to mind to represent the power of Divine Feminine. She leads a great gathering of souls in a universal meditation to send waves of energy for peace, unity and love.

For the past few years as time and inspiration allows, I’ve been creating meditations and healing energy transmissions, and loading them to YouTube. What began as fulfilling a request from a client/friend, has grown into a personally enjoyable exploration of visionary inspiration and a gift to the outside world. Admittedly, I haven’t worked on raising my SEO scores or cared about marketing my “brand.” I’ve simply been following intuitive guidance to offer healing meditations to a troubled world.
While I haven’t monetized my videos, they are increasingly used as revenue vehicles for YouTube. I understand they need to make money, however, when commercials loudly interrupt meditations, they destroy the listener’s concentration. So, I am in the process of making them available here at Supernal Living. The first group is up as a menu item calledHealing Meditations. I am also seeking other on-line venues to make them available without commercial interruptions.
I’ve recently settled into a new home in the Santa Cruz mountains and look forward to the upcoming months being a productive time with Spirit to produce new transmissions. I’m making the latest one available now.

As a long-time subscriber to Gaia TV, I’ve enjoyed watching episodes of Cosmic Disclosure, Ancient Aliens, Open Minds interviews with Regina Meredith, Dr. Steven Greer, and, lest we forget, George Noory’s Beyond Belief. I’ve taken it all with a grain of salt, but the idea that our planet is regularly visited by extraterrestrials is old news to me. Yet, the culture of ridicule runs so deeply in the US, I’ve only engaged in hushed discussions with “safe” people about subjects like UFO’s and other worldly visitations. There’s been talk of “slow disclosure” for the past couple of years. The Feds have sparingly released old UFO documents. But, the sense of stonewalling by the US government hasn’t changed, until now.
The National Geographic channel on Disney+ six-part series entitled UFO: Investigating The Unknownfeaturing journalist investigator Leslie Kean blew me away. It’s a highly credible compilation of historical information of UFO events since the 1940’s. Though Gaia interviews speak of Dr. J. Allen Hynek and his work on Project Blue and beyond, the National Geographic series has access to television footage interviews to see Hynek in action.
The major UFO events in Stephenville, Texas in 2008; the 1967 Malmstrom, Montana nuclear base disruption; and the 1997 Phoenix Lights sightings are covered in detail. The US policy of whitewashing, ridicule, and secrecy becomes obvious. Especially revealing are the commanders at Malmstrom who were forced to sign non-disclosure agreements and knew their careers would be over if they spoke to anyone about the incident. They waited 40 years to break their silence.
But times are changing. The series also features prominent government disclosure advocates like Leon Panetta, Senator Harry Reid, and Senator Kristen Gillibrand who believe the American public can handle the revelations without running wild in the streets with fear. After all, this is now a nation of Trekkies and Star Wars fanatics.
This week got even more real with Congressional hearings with Ryan Graves, executive director of Americans for Safe Aerospace, retired Air Force Maj. David Grusch and retired Navy Cmdr. David Fravor testifying before the subcommittee on UFO’s. When NPR (National Public Radio) runs a story, you know it has the powers-that-be stamp of approval.
Disclosure is definitely happening. The rationale seems to be safety for aircraft that has to deal with UAPs (Unknown Anomalous Phenomena). Personally, I’m skeptical that it’s a ruse for furthering the military industrial complex. Hopefully, this isn’t another excuse for war, but, rather a path to peaceful co-existence with highly intelligent civilizations that have been watching human development since the dawn of man.

On the beautiful Niagara Falls evening of November 8, 2003, Dr. Yvonne Kason slipped on a piece of black ice and hit her head on the hard rock of the walkway. A flash of excruciating head pain quickly dissolved as she died. Her consciousness rose from her body and entered non-physical realms where she met her spiritual gurus and reviewed all her past lives.The tale of that Near Death Experience (NDE) would be riveting on its own. However, in Dr. Kason’s book, Soul Lessons from the Light, that story comes late in the book because it is the fifth NDE of her remarkable life.
Yvonne Kason was born and raised in Canada. Though her childhood included mystical experiences, she pursued a career as a medical doctor and planned to have a standard Family Practice when she graduated from medical school in 1977. Those plans were dramatically altered in 1979 when she survived a small plane crash on a medevac flight over the frozen wilds of northern Ontario. She had to escape the sinking plane and swim through frigid water in heavy clothing to reach a small sacred island, far from civilization. In that harrowing escapade, her consciousness slipped from her swimming body and watched the drama unfold, even as she also visited heavenly realms. That Near Death Experience eventually became the material for her book, A Farther Shore, published in 1994, and put her in the national limelight. Dr. Kason expanded her medical practice to counseling for people who struggled with Near Death or other Spiritually Transformative Experiences (STE’s), a phrase she coined that has been adopted into the common vernacular. She became a well-known speaker on talk shows, media interviews, and various conferences around the world.
While maintaining a high functioning professional life, Dr. Kason also developed a deeply devoted spiritual life through intense meditation practices and contemplative retreats. She experienced kundalini awakenings, visions, spiritual downloads, past life recall and pretty much all the clairs at one time or another. Thus, Soul Lessons from the Light is so much more than a spiritual memoir. It defines and explains a wide variety of mystical experiences. Chapter 10 lays out the abc’s of psychic/intuitive experience from “abstract intuition” to “UFO encounters.” Even though I’ve been studying mystical matters for decades, I had an ah-ha moment when I read her definition of a Kundalini Awakening and realized that was the name for something I experienced way back in 1983.
Because Dr. Kason has spent so many years helping people work through their life-changing spiritual experiences, she offers a perspective of professional guidance, even as she shares her very personal revelations.
Today, Dr. Kason is truly a walking miracle. For that 2003 fall on black ice caused a severe traumatic brain injury that left her disabled for thirteen years. The life she had carefully built, as a doctor, lecturer, author, and counselor completely disappeared. She struggled to perform basic physical and mental functions. Her income and ability to take care of her son became precarious. What she missed most was the ability to meditate and reach the blissful mental states she had known. Determination took her a long way toward recovery, but it was an eruption of liquid light in the center of her brain in 2016 during a meditation that healed her injury and allowed her to resume a high-powered life.
In 2020, she and Robert Bare, another NDE experiencer, were intuitively guided to co-found Spiritual Awakenings International (SAI), an organization dedicated to building a world-wide community of people who’ve had Spiritually Transformative Experiences. The SAI YouTube channel holds a growing library of fascinating people sharing their STE’s for the world to hear, often after decades of keeping their experiences a secret from family and friends for fear of being ridiculed or considered delusional. SAI’s third annual multi-speaker on-line conference is coming up on June 10-11, free to all (donations requested).
Soul Lessons from the Light opens the realms of heaven and earth for the spiritual seeker. As Dr. Kason says in her closing chapter:
Due to my personal experiences of multiple STE’s and miracles in my life, I know there is always hope for a better tomorrow. We must never lose hope. If we turn to the Higher Power in our hearts, the Divine hand might unexpectedly intervene, and invisibly reach out to offer assistance, healing, or guidance in our time of need.
