“World of Archangels”–a Review

World of Archangelsby Dana Taylor

I finished my slow reading World of Archangels by Sufian Chaudhary (see earlier post), a combination memoir, channeled material, and  meditation text-book. As an energy healer myself, I had many “ah-ha” moments as he shed light on things I have experienced and wondered about, such as working with Higher Beings. He offers practical ways to raise frequency for better communication. While on the surface, this looks like a New Age book, filled with yoga-like meditations, it ultimately offers a very familiar Judeo-Christian world view. Sufian has experienced both angels and demons and teaches us to tell the difference. I found a certain power in simply reading the book, which has been noted to me by others.  Sufian asserts that he travels to other dimensions and communicates with Archangels. This book is a tool of communication from them to us. I certainly didn’t grasp every nuance of the message, but at the end of the day, it is about becoming one with the Unconditional Love of Jesus Christ. The means offered here may seem completely “out of this world,” but seeking Unconditional Love is always a message worth hearing, at least in my book.

World of Archangels is still only 99 cents and doing very well at Amazon. Experience it for yourself.

“Follow the River” to Mystic Adventure

Follow The River, Lost In The Mountains Of MexicoLast weekend I was a guest speaker at a small women’s conference. One of the other speakers was Hypnotherapist Dale Arend sharing about her book, Follow the River: Lost in the Mountains of Mexico. I recognized Dale as a kindred spiritual explorer. Of course, I purchased her book.

Follow the River captures a period of time in 1981 when Dale lived and worked in Mazatlan, Mexico. Her Mexican friends quickly named her “Dahlia” for the lovely flower and it has become her author name. Mystical experiences began early in Dahlia’s life, so when she felt led to leave California for the opportunity to practice healing energy work in Mazatlan, she knew spiritual adventures lay ahead.

It wasn’t long before she noticed mysterious lights moving over a distant plateau, in and out of a mountain appropriately named Mountain of the Lights. When she asked people about it, they casually replied, “Oh, those are orbs.” Dahlia’s curiosity was piqued. She wanted to meet the orbs up close and personal. She ultimately persuaded four young Mexican men to join the American woman on three-day hiking quest to find the orbs.

Three days turned into nine days and a remarkable tale of mysterious encounters, mind-blowing happenings, and an intense, but short-lived, romance. Dahlia’s recount is a pageturner. She tells the story cleanly, without waxing poetic, or taking off on long epiphanies. She describes her 30-something self and the unique personalities of her companions. Her interpreter, friend, and perhaps, soul mate, Huram takes on a gentle, heroic persona by the end of the book.

She allows the reader to draw their own conclusions about what the experiences might have meant and why she was pulled into the journey. If Dahlia’s life has continued to be as interesting as Follow the River, I’ll definitely be looking forward to the next book!

Onion Flu Prevention

onionDana by Dana Taylor

Yesterday morning my daughter, Sara, called and said, “Pray for your grandson. He is throwing up all over the house.”

Great. I wasn’t too concerned about four-year-old, Will, our Reiki baby. He has a stellar immune system and I knew his body was just taking care of business. My greater worry was for my daughter, her husband, and baby sister not getting the flu also. So I sat down in my prayer chair and asked for protection for them.

I immediately received an instruction. “Tell her to put cut onions around the house.”

My reaction–Seriously???

I recalled reading something about onions being used against illness, but it is not something I have ever tried or seen. But, I called Sara and told her the impression I had we received. We both began an Internet search for more information. What we found told of “old wives tales” about placing onions around the house to kill off “poisonous” air. Many articles debunk the myth such as:

http://urbanlegends.about.com/od/medical/a/swine_flu_facts_onions_and_flu.htm

However here is a quote from Healthiertalk.com that was more “pro” onion therapy:

In an early 1900’s Los Angeles Times article, the following suggestion was offered to the public:

“In a sickroom you cannot have a better disinfectant than the onion. It has a wonderful capacity for absorbing germs. A dish of sliced onions placed in a sickroom will draw away the disease; they must be removed as soon as they lose their odor and become discolored, and be replaced by fresh ones.”

Onions are known for both their anti-viral and anti-inflammatory properties. They are also high in sulfuric compounds such as thiosulfinates, sulfoxides, and other odorous cysteine sulfoxides. These compounds give onions their pungent flavor and are what make you cry when cutting them. Research shows that the thiosulfinates in onions are responsible for their antimicrobial properties. Thiosulfinates have even been shown to kill off salmonella and E. coli. Sulfuric compounds also play a role in cancer and heart disease prevention, and therefore act as a great immune-boosting food for general disease prevention.

When my son-in-law, Aaron, came home last evening, he asked Sara, “Why is there an onion in the bathroom?” She told him her Mom had instructed her to place onions around the house to help prevent spreading the flu. Aaron has gotten used to our eccentric ways and took the news in stride.

This morning, Will woke up feeling fine after a day of retching and resting. So far, the family is flu-free. Was it the onions? Who knows? But, they couldn’t hurt, right?

“World of Archangels”–You’re not in Kansas anymore

Note from Dana Taylor:
World of Archangels CoverDanaI recently came across this author and book in one of my facebook groups. World of Archangels caught my interest, especially in light of what seems like angelic connection in my own healing work. Sufian Chaudhary is still quite young in years (24), but appears to be one of the “old souls” we hear are incarnating on the planet and might be our best hope for the future. I am only about 30% through the manuscript, and it fascinates me. As someone who is increasingly working with spiritual energy, I’ve had several “ah-ha” moments shedding light on some of my experiences. For many, the material will seem really “out there,” but to others leading multidimensional lives, it will be an interesting exploration of the world beyond our five senses.
I invited Sufian to send me some information about himself and a short excerpt from World of Archangels
Enjoy!
About the Author

Sufian Chaudhary was initiated into the spiritual world by Archangel Uriel, Jesus Christ and Ascended Master St. Germain. His teachings are channeled by the original Masters who first brought them to life. Born in Australia in 1988, Sufian completed a Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in Accounting and Property Development and started working full-time for one of the world’s largest accounting firms by the time he was only 19 years old. After being in the extremely powerful presence of Archangel Uriel, Sufian has chosen to dedicate his life to teaching the world how to commune with the Archangels.

500 word excerpt

World of Archangels is a spiritual masterpiece designed by Archangel Uriel that retraces the self-realization process that allows you to interact with some of the most influential Beings in this Universe. Regardless of who you are, where you come from or what you are doing, this book contains Universal principles that will redefine your spiritual life. Every single Chapter introduces and explores a powerful spiritual concept. The book is filled with Enlightening meditations, Ancient wisdom and uplifting stories of ethereal encounters with the other side. Whether you are a beginner in this field or an old soul wiser than the day, World of Archangels will help you achieve the next level of your spiritual journey.

Throughout history we have been led to believe that there were only 7 primary Chakras within the human body. There are in fact 12 Chakras that act as representatives for the 12 Dimensions that make up our Universal learning environment. World of Archangels delves quite heavily into each of the Dimensions that collectively became known as Creator School. We are each of us developing souls that will one day achieve the 12th Dimension and leave Creation as powerful Creators ourselves. The fundamentals of achieving such a feat revolves around Unconditional Love and expressing ourselves within the extremely heightened existence of Enlightenment. The Archangels are the Beings who convey these teachings down in order to complete the cycle of learning. World of Archangels was written to simply orchestrate such a Divine meeting; the rest is entirely up to Destiny.

The book follows a self-realization process that Archangel Uriel hand-crafted for the sole purpose of awakening souls. Each chapter continues this powerful journey, where by the end of the book, descriptive meditations upon activating and cleansing the Chakras, raising the vibration of the human body, communing with ethereal Beings, psychic self defense, healing and the ability to understand Life beyond normal human perception becomes available. With self-realization in mind, World of Archangels aims to excel the spiritual aspirant onto a pathway of Enlightenment with dedicated meditations to empower the human energetic body beyond the normal limitations.

Here on Earth we may sometimes become bogged down with all manner of disharmonies that cause us to be shackled into a physical life that was effectively set up for us to fail at some point in time. Sometimes we cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel and many times we may even feel burnt by Life itself for no other reason than for the justification of karmic debt. It may be one of the greatest answers to know the meaning of your life and to understand why you are even alive. To genuinely approach an Archangel; these answers may very well be given to you. To live a fulfilling Life, to be free of limitations, to recognize the nature of who you are and where you have come from; this is the result of becoming an awakened soul.

The Knowing by psychic Nita Lapinski

The Knowing Forrest 1“The Knowing –Awake in the Dark” is a true story that will take you on an
unexpected journey into the mind of a clairvoyant child as she navigates the
harsh and painful realities of her life.

Psychic abilities are no guarantee for a happy life, as Nita Lapinski’s life
story powerfully reveals. When family life lacks a foundation of love and
support, too often girls seek love in some very wrong places. Nita’s desperate
choice of Aaron Goddard set her on a life path of abuse and drug addiction from
the time she hit puberty. What I found so fascinating about this tale wasn’t so
much the paranormal elements, but the fact that Nita managed to grow into a
mature, wise woman. Of course, it was largely through the help of her spirit
guides that she was able to rise from immaturity and near-fatal fantasies to
mental clarity.

Writing memoir is very difficult. Nita keeps the story
rolling with key scenes and credible characters. Ultimately, this is a story of
hope. People can change and there is divine guidance waiting to give us a
helping hand when we are ready to receive it. ~ Dana Taylor

EXCERPT from The Knowing: Awake in the Dark

San Francisco

Sleeping homeless people crowded every open doorway and overhang. They lay on tattered cardboard mats and newspaper – the lucky were wrapped in blankets or sleeping bags and others huddled under layered clothing – their heads covered in wooly caps. Sidewalks and gutters saturated with urine brought to mind an outdoor latrine whose smell could not be escaped in the damp morning air.

The San Francisco sky was heavy with fog that left a cloud of moisture clinging to my face as I walked to Pete’s for my morning espresso.  As I approached the street corner, a homeless man sat up and leaned against the doorway of where he’d slept. Jumbled in a heap beside him, in a filthy burrow of despair, was fishing net stuffed with clothes tied in a tight ball, a torn plastic Safeway bag that brimmed with crushed aluminum cans and his bedding in a tangled mass of guarded treasure. His feet were bare and blackened with street grime, his toenails shockingly yellow and long and the odor of his unwashed body wafted toward me carried in the mist. Webbed with deep cracks that looked raw and painful, his swollen hands shook as he carefully opened a pint-sized bottle that contained his salvation and lifted it reverently to his lips.

I watched the man and thought -What a shame – Poor man, what a waste. – The voice was immediate, – Who are we – It asked – to judge our brother? Perhaps a hundred people pass by him today, forever changed by his presence. Can it be his gift to us? Does he live exactly as his soul intends? How can we know? I was stung with the arrogance of my thoughts and felt embarrassment spread to my cheeks. I believed my thoughts were compassionate and didn’t see the judgment in them. Instantly, my critical opinion and limiting thoughts were exposed. The homeless man stared blankly into the street – caught in his own reverie as I passed – but after that morning – when I found myself in judgment of others – thinking that I knew a better path for them – I remembered the voice and worked hard to let my judgment go and look within to discover what my real fear or self-judgment was. I found that every time I judged another, it was my own limiting thoughts that needed change.

Christianity and Reiki

There are the sayings, “like attracts like” and “birds of a feather flock together.” I’ve found in my Reiki practice and the responses to Ever-Flowing Streams: Christ, Reiki, Reincarnation and Me that I am attracting people grounded in a Christian tradition, but willing to think outside the box. Much of Ever-Flowing Streams chronicles my pursuit of knowledge about energy healing within the Christian culture. Can a Christian comfortably visit or become a Reiki therapist? Let’s get some perspective on the issue.

Reiki_Symbol

  • Reiki is not a religion. People of many religious affiliations or no religious affiliations are participating in the energy healing movement. Its roots come from Japan and an Eastern world view, but it is utilizing universal energies—like electricity.
  • Are there “magic” symbols? The symbols in Reiki have specific meanings and many are Japanese words or phrases. They are used as meditation focus points to enable the practitioner to concentrate a healing intention, such as sending distance healing. The idea of “magic” is primarily a Western concept that arises from Occult activity. Reiki symbols are more akin to mediating and quieting the mind toward a certain goal. Reiki symbols are part of Sacred Geometry, carrying healing energetic frequencies.
  • Where does the healing power come from? The same question was asked of Jesus Christ when he walked the earth and healed the multitudes. Some accused him of being in league with the Devil. He knew how to use the universal healing energies in a very efficient manner. I began studying energy healing within the church and simply kept learning. The Reiki energies come from another dimension, unseen to the human eye, but quite real. As humans evolve and become multi-sensory, access to these energies and the intelligence behind them will become more common.

Personally, I consider myself a follower of Christ and the expansion into energy work is a further manifestation of living out my spiritual path. However, I don’t press my religious beliefs on clients.  Energy work encompasses transmitting healing vibrations into the subtle (energetic ) body of the client. The practitioner may also pick up information, such as sensing that an organ is stressed, like a low thyroid. The energies emitted are utilized by the client to the best of their ability to assimilate it. None of this activity is tied to a religion.
