Break the Habit of Fear

th[8]I’ve been keeping a journal of my mental trips to the Akashic Records. So often now when I read an entry I think, I don’t remember that. Good thing I’m writing the information down! Much of it dissolves like a dream. The entry for September 15, 2013 seems like good advice for just about everyone on the planet, so I thought I would share.

QUESTION to the Guardians of the Akashic Records (for Dana Taylor): What pattern has been established that needs to be cleared or changed?

ANSWER: Fear is a basic condition of humans that is a strong influence on all your reactions and plans. Fear-based theology, fear about health, wealth, war, invasion, personal safety, fear for children, fear of the future.

Come to recognize how much fear has influenced your life and then come to see it as a bad habit to be broken. Break the ties and bondages of fear. Be liberated from all the fear that generally rules mankind. Seek the higher energies and allow them to dissolve the lower energies of fear. From that will come creativity, freedom, and joy. Higher entities will be attracted to you and aid in your creative endeavors.

Messages from angels in the Bible say, “Be not afraid. Fear not.” These messages are not simply for the moment, but a permanent exultation to recognize fear as a crippling illusion. Shatter the illusion of fear and step into the light and love of the Christ Spirit.

When that came through, it took me by surprise. I haven’t thought of myself as particularly fearful, but I had to admit the truth of it. Fear–or caution some might call it–is a tool for human survival. Don’t talk to strangers, take your pills, buy lots of insurance, don’t go by the river where the gators live. There’s some wisdom in fear. But when it paralyzes and stifles, it’s time to kick the habit.

What fears are holding you back from the joys of life? Think about it.

An Afternoon with Shirley MacLaine

This afternoon I enjoyed the once-in-a-lifetime privilege of seeing Shirley MacLaine in person for her onstage life review and chat. The setting was simple—a comfortable, cushioned chair on a rug with a side table. A screen hung behind the chair to take us down a pictorial memory lane with the 79-year-old actress, movie star, political activist, author, and metaphysician.

What a life she has led. Born in Virginia to loving parents, growing up with brother Warren Beatty, she danced her way quickly to Broadway. Her life soon copied a 42nd Street plot where the understudy becomes the star. Hollywood grabbed her. Alfred Hitchcock starred 19-year-old Shirley in
The Trouble with Harry and her film career is still going strong sixty years later.

There were the expected photos of Sammy, Dean, Frank, Jerry, and Liza from the Rat Pack, glitzy years.  Shirley MacLaine has pursued so much more than celebrity. She had hopes and dreams for the direction of the country. She gave two years of her life to the George McGovern presidential campaign. But, America went down the road to Watergate, instead. She took a team of American women  behind the bamboo curtain of what we still called Red China back then.

Probably, the longest lasting legacy MacLaine will leave behind will be her exploration of metaphysical and paranormal realms. Personally, I remember being fascinated by Don’t Fall off the Mountain in college. Later, while living in the Bible Belt, I secretly read Out on a Limb, which featured her spiritual awakening in Peru. Her public embracing of reincarnation made her the butt of late night talk show jokes, but Shirley continued her course, undaunted.

Today, as audience members lined up to ask her questions, it became clear they were more interested about her ideas on spirituality than her memories of Sinatra. Ultimately, she came across as a very smart lady. Being a famous actress has been her allowed her to globe trot and exchange ideas with many of the greatest minds of our time. She is curious, thoughtful, and always learning. For years she has recorded interviews with scientists, spiritual leaders, military experts and health advisors for her website ShirleyMacLaine.com .  A wealth of information is available on her site.

Talent, brains, grace and wisdom, Shirley MacLaine is the whole package and certainly an inspiration to keep growing, laughing and loving.

“Paranormal” is the New Normal

Let me take you back about five years ago. After receiving amazing healings through Reiki energy treatments, three friends–Dana, Sue, and Paula, began exploring energy healing, metaphysical subjects, having meditation times and started a website Supernal Friends for fun. Sue and Paula did not share their last names, largely because they felt their brothers might not appreciate their interest in these things.

Fast forward to 2013–one of those brothers, Larry, is now leading the way with his FAMILY FIRST PARANORMAL website. If you’ve read Ever-Flowing Streams: Tapping Into Healing Energy, you know some of Paula’s story. Now you can see her on the web helping the spirit of a murdered young girl follow the light. “World of Archangels”–You’re not in Kansas anymore

World of Archangels CoverDanaI recently came across this author and book in one of my facebook groups. World of Archangels caught my interest, especially in light of what seems like angelic connection in my own healing work. Sufian Chaudhary is still quite young in years (24), but appears to be one of the “old souls” we hear are incarnating on the planet and might be our best hope for the future. I am only about 30% through the manuscript, and it fascinates me.
