“World of Archangels”–a Review

I finished my slow reading World of Archangels by Sufian Chaudhary (see earlier post), a combination memoir, channeled material, and  meditation text-book. As an energy healer myself, I had many “ah-ha” moments as he shed light on things I have experienced and wondered about, such as working with Higher Beings. He offers practical ways to raise frequency for better communication. While on the surface, this looks like a New Age book, filled with yoga-like meditations, it ultimately offers a very familiar Judeo-Christian world view. Sufian has experienced both angels and demons and teaches us to tell the difference. I found a certain power in simply reading the book, which has been noted to me by others.  Sufian asserts that he travels to other dimensions and communicates with Archangels. This book is a tool of communication from them to us. I certainly didn’t grasp every nuance of the message, but at the end of the day, it is about becoming one with the Unconditional Love of Jesus Christ. The means offered here may seem completely “out of this world,” but seeking Unconditional Love is always a message worth hearing, at least in my book.

World of Archangels CoverDanaI recently came across this author and book in one of my facebook groups. World of Archangels caught my interest, especially in light of what seems like angelic connection in my own healing work. Sufian Chaudhary is still quite young in years (24), but appears to be one of the “old souls” we hear are incarnating on the planet and might be our best hope for the future. I am only about 30% through the manuscript, and it fascinates me. As someone who is increasingly working with spiritual energy, I’ve had several “ah-ha” moments shedding light on some of my experiences. For many, the material will seem really “out there,” but to others leading multidimensional lives, it will be an interesting exploration of the world beyond our five senses.

About the Author

Sufian Chaudhary was initiated into the spiritual world by Archangel Uriel, Jesus Christ and Ascended Master St. Germain. His teachings are channeled by the original Masters who first brought them to life. Angel Nanny

Angel Anecdotes Series–
valentineMy daughter, Sara, and her husband moved into a lovely 1920’s era home in St. Louis when they got married. From the beginning, we sensed a kindly spirit in the upstairs area. Several of the Supernal Friends picked up similar images of a Victorian era woman. I pictured  one with a Gibson girl upswept hair style;  others saw her hair long and full.

During the time Sara was pregnant with her son, Will, she had the opportunity to receive her Reiki II attunement from Helen (www.rippleoflights.com). Helen told her that Will would also receive the attunement. He is our Reiki Baby. He has been extraordinarily healthy and happy. We also think he may have been watched over by the Victorian woman we sensed. Sara and I received similar names for her–“Lilli” or “Lillian.” Will was often content to stay in his crib and vocalized happily “alone.” Supernal Friend Paula once told me he was learning many things from Lilli.

When I visited their home, I shared Will’s room. One afternoon I closed the door to have some quiet prayer and meditation time. The windows were closed; no fan whirred. I sat in the rocking chair and went through my meditation. After a while, it occurred to me to address Lilli. I said in my mind, “I don’t know if you’re here, Lilli, but if you are I would like to thank you for taking care of Will.” I felt a little silly addressing what could have just been a figment of everyone’s imaginations, but it couldn’t hurt, right?

A couple of minutes later, a piece of paper sailed off the top of the armoire and drifted down to my feet.

Hmm, I guess that was Lilli’s way of saying, “You’re welcome.”

Angel Anecdotes

When terrible events occur like the tragedy in Newtown, Conn., our faith in a loving Divine Source can get seriously shaken. I’m not going to even begin pondering the Big Questions. Instead, through the holidays I thought I would share some  Angel Anecdotes. I don’t have the Whole Picture, but I’ve had enough experiences to know we’re not alone.

My daughter, Cary, keeps her Guardian Angels on their toes. Her name means Strong Woman. She announced by age eight that she was going to be a missionary and is living out her destiny. She’s traveled to Nicaragua, India, Nepal, China, Fiji and Cambodia, with intrepid courage. Whether she’s in a small plane edging over the Himalayas or a rickety bus in Angkor Wat, her Mother is praying her through.

ANGELIC INTERVENTION  OF INCOMPETENT PARENTING

No mother is perfect, and neither was I, as these stories clearly reveal:

Incident #1: At 18 months old Cary was already a fearless explorer. Our Oklahoma rent house back yard had a beautiful bush with poisonous, red berries.  I’d set up a barrier around the bush to be on the safe side. Cary and I were enjoying a little sunshine. I settled on a chaise lounge; she played nearby. You know how it goes–warm sun shine, soft breeze. My eyes grew drowsy…I wasn’t asleep, but I was heading that direction when I clearly heard–SHE’S ABOUT TO EAT A BERRY.

I sat up in time to see her a few feet away reaching under the make-shift fence for one of those irresistible berries. “No!” I yelled. She sat back and blinked at me, all innocent brown eyes.

Incident #2: At three years old, Cary could paddle around a pool quite well in an inner-tube. My parents’ back yard was our second summer home with its big pool. On this particular day, my friend, Sue, and her two children joined my two girls and me for a play date and lunch. We’d finished eating and were cleaning up. The kids played under the patio. I carried dirty dishes back into the house, turning my back on Sue and the kids. Sue picked up the used napkins and turned her back from the pool for a minute to throw them in the trash can.

That’s when Cary decided it was time to get back in the pool. She picked up her inner tube and placed it over her head, not thinking to stick her arms through the hole also. I had just closed the sliding screen behind me and entered the house when I heard–SHE’S GETTING IN THE POOL.

I turned around just in time to see her head disappear under the swim ring as she walked off the bottom shallow end step. I threw the dishes down, whipped open the screen, dashed across the concrete and jumped in the water. I doubt Cary was under water more than 10 seconds.

Sue and I were horrified that we’d both diverted our attention from the children at the same time. Good thing the Angel was still on watch!

I’m not generally a clairaudient intuitive (hearing messages)–but I guess when a situation is critical enough, a non-physical entity can give a shout-out. Or maybe being a Mother gave me an extra portion of ESP. I don’t know all the forces that came into play, but I am grateful I heard the messages and averted serious consequences to my momentary lapses of attention.

Thank God the Angels are out there. I obviously need all the help I can get! More anecdotes soon…Feel free to share yours.

Angels in the Living Room

I guess you could call me a “hobbyist healer.” My friends and I get together and when some gals might go shopping, we visit a while and then quietly meditate and “send energy” in what we’ve come to call our Supernal Sessions. Increasingly, we’ve come to sense the presence of helpers, or spiritual team members–Angels, perhaps. So when I saw the book QUANTUM ANGEL HEALING by Eva-Maria Mora, I thought it might shed light on what is happening in my living room. 

Quantum Angel Healing: Energy Therapy and Communication with AngelsEva-Maria Mora is a certified Quantum Touch energy healer and founder of Quantum Angel Healing, offering classes and certification in the technique.  I appreciated that she began the book by asking the question of clients–“How does this illness serve you?” I remain a “hobbyist healer” because I discovered long ago that many people don’t really want to be well.

The book is well organized and carries much of the information familiar to energy workers–chakras, auras, crystals, cleansing, prayer, and emotional connections to illness. There is a definite shamanistic influence to the material. She takes it a step further by introducing a cast of Angelic characters–naming them and associating them with energy centers of the body and specific disorders. She identifies them and even nicknames by their greater functions–i.e. Ariel is the Greenpeace angel because she can clean intervene in enviornmental problems. Raphael is the healing angel and helps people get over emotional wounds.

She offers exercises to break down mental barriers and open communication with the angels. One such technique is called the Angel Breath. I practiced this and felt it did seem to widen my sense of connection. Obviously, the material in the book will be suspect in many people’s minds. It is unfamiliar and feels like pure fantasy. The Supernal friends got into a lively discussion about it.

“How does she know all this stuff?” Sue asked.  

“I guess her guide, Zohar, gave her all the information,” I replied. “I don’t know. It’s just interesting. I’m not saying it’s infallible Truth.”

So, if you are fascinated by the unseen dimensions of quantum healing and open to the idea of angelic helpers, QUANTUM ANGEL HEALING, will continue on your journey of exploration. And I’m being polite to the angels, just in case they’re actually hanging out in my living room.
