As the weather gets colder and the holidays fast approach, it’s nice to turn to some seasonal reading. Here are my offerings to bring a smile to your heart.
AIN’T LOVE GRAND?
My first novel has autobiographical overtones. Following the sage advice “write what you know,” the personalities of the H/H are basically me and my husband, David. The story is fictional, but the Oklahoma setting and culture reflects where I was living at that time. This year marks the 10th anniversary of David’s passing. This story is close to my heart.
The Healer vs. the Lawyer. Energy healer, Persephone Jones, has a new neighbor in Peeler, Oklahoma—hot shot lawyer, Jason Brooks. They meet in June; it would take a miracle to bring these two together by Christmas. She bans white sugar; he’s a chocolate cookie connoisseur. She’s about saving Mother Earth while he protects the interests of Big Business. Their attraction is mutual, but disturbing. Aloha Santa began as a performance piece for a Christmas show of the Na Leo Lani Chorus of Sweet Adelines in Honolulu. The chorus became ohana (family) for me in the six years I lived in there. The fun poem was so well received, I turned it into a children’s book with the wonderful illustrations by Jaana Baker. It’s a fun read-aloud book for the whole family. Do you believe in angels? Here are three short stories featuring angels in various guises.
“Shiny Green Shoes”— Life was hard on old Route 66 in 1935 in Luther, Oklahoma. The unlikely friendship between Mazie McDonald, a poor black child, and Peach Knight, an aging white actress, brings hope to a town down on its luck and proves dreams do come true!
“Refiner’s Fire”— Inspired by an incident from the 2008 San Diego firestorms. Flamboyant California real estate agent, Dina Stein, doesn’t care that she’s spending Hanukah alone with her dog, Angel. Better than spending it with her ungrateful daughter and son-in-law. Funny how Mother Nature can change your perspective.
“Patty’s Angels”—Los Angeles, 1960. California is becoming a state of great contrasts. Downtown LA and the suburbs are only minutes, yet worlds, apart. A little girl named Patty brings people together, with the help of her celestial best friends. Available in the Kindle Store at Amazon.
Pray like the 100th Monkey

Unfolding world events can be maddening and disheartening. Is there any way to make a material difference when we see injustice, corruption, greed, hate and destruction? We can sign petitions, march in protest, send money to worthy organizations, post meaningful memes on Facebook and Instagram (one of my personal favorites.) But, it all feels pretty impotent.
My best hope as a person of faith and student of metaphysics, is the idea that group intention in higher dimensions can make a material difference in the way people think and behave. It’s the 100th Monkey Effect, based on a 1950’s study of monkeys living on Japanese islands. The practice of washing their sweet potatoes in a stream began with a youngster and spread by observation and repetition throughout one island. At some point, there appeared to be a critical mass of lifting the primates’ group consciousness across to other islands where those monkeys began washing their food.
A 2007 study by Marharesi University showed that a significant decrease in city crime can be observed when 1% of the population will engage in deliberate meditation to mitigate the local violence. Jesus spoke of the power of group prayer in Matthew 18:19-20 Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am among them.
So, it seems to me as someone who has seen the power of prayer, meditation, healing energy, distance healing, etc., the best I can do on a global scale is join with others in heavenly realms and set an intention of Higher Consciousness. With that in mind, last year I asked for help in co-creating a meditation for world peace. There are no countries, cities, or nationalities named. No politics involved. No timeline. Mary Magdelene came to mind to represent the power of Divine Feminine. She leads a great gathering of souls in a universal meditation to send waves of energy for peace, unity and love.

Inner Earth Blue Crystal Pool Meditation

For the past few years as time and inspiration allows, I’ve been creating meditations and healing energy transmissions, and loading them to YouTube. What began as fulfilling a request from a client/friend, has grown into a personally enjoyable exploration of visionary inspiration and a gift to the outside world. Admittedly, I haven’t worked on raising my SEO scores or cared about marketing my “brand.” I’ve simply been following intuitive guidance to offer healing meditations to a troubled world.
While I haven’t monetized my videos, they are increasingly used as revenue vehicles for YouTube. I understand they need to make money, however, when commercials loudly interrupt meditations, they destroy the listener’s concentration. So, I am in the process of making them available here at Supernal Living. The first group is up as a menu item called Healing Meditations. I am also seeking other on-line venues to make them available without commercial interruptions.
I’ve recently settled into a new home in the Santa Cruz mountains and look forward to the upcoming months being a productive time with Spirit to produce new transmissions. I’m making the latest one available now.

Healing Energy for Surgery Recovery Meditation
Spirit moved me on a recent rainy Sunday afternoon to record a healing energy meditation for promoting healing after surgery. Archangel Raphael is known as an angel of healing. He popped into my mind as the session progressed and took part in the meditation.
The human body is such a marvelous creation. The regeneration of tissues in the healing process can be enhanced by frequencies of light and sound. This meditation encourages the listener to tap into the energy streams swirling in the cosmos to aid in recovery.
