House Call: A Story of Hope for the Chronically Ill

by Dana Taylor

My work as a Reiki therapist often involves chronically ill clients who have “tried everything” in their search for wellness. There are certain recurring themes I see in these people. Often I must choose my words carefully in expressing my impressions to them. I know that their world view and my world view are very different.
HOUSE CALL is a parable to teach and reveal certain principles of healing in story form. The tale centers around a young mother, Angela Mattea, who struggles with chronic disease. Her greatest desire is to see her ten-year-old son, David, grow to manhood. Her downward spiral seems inevitable until a day when a very special therapist is sent from “the agency.”
HOUSE CALL: A STORY OF HOPE FOR THE CHRONICALLY ILL is now up at on my YouTube channel. It runs about 45 minutes. I invite you to listen and feel free to share it with someone who may need to hear it.
Bright Blessings,

Are We Foolish Branches?

by Dana Taylor

As we in the US approach a highly contentious national election, it’s more important than ever that Lightworkers unite in sending peace and high frequency vibration into the world. In his monthly energy update for November (delivered a few days early), Lee Harris offers wise advice and insights into the coming days. Seek internal peace in the midst of external chaos. Generate offerings of peace to a frightened, angry world.

Our words and actions send a wave of energy that reverberate far beyond our understanding. Frankly, it’s my opinion much of the violent weather we’re experiencing is a reflection of the collective anger Americans are projecting. The spread of the covid-19 is a metaphor for the energetic influence we all have on each other.

Fear and illness are contagious. But so is faith, hope, and love. Which do you want to catch? Which do you want to pass on? There’s always a choice. Choose wisely.

I encourage Lightworkers, Prayer Warriors, Empaths, Meditators and all such folk to consciously spend time in the coming days projecting the highest vibrations of love and reconciliation across the land. We CAN make a difference.
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13

Signs From the Other Side

Book Review by Dana Taylor

About three weeks after my Dad died, strange things began to happen. The door bell went haywire, going off by itself with mangled noises. Twice, my husband and I heard something crashing in another room and ran to investigate. Nothing. One night we heard a definite knock, knock, knock on the back window. No one there. We began laughing about it. Seemed like Dad was letting us know he was still around. We lived in his house for a couple more years and I felt him guiding me through home repairs. His visits in my life receded after I sold the house.

My husband died in a car accident in 2013, but made his presence known through psychic friends with several messages. He said a final goodbye to me in one early morning visitation that I recalled in the post Grace in Grief: Six Months After My Husband’s Passing.

I’ve learned through personal experience that loved ones continue living in another dimension. Many times they find ways to communicate with people left behind. Psychic medium Laura Lynne Jackson explores various methods of those communications. From the annals of her case histories, she weaves together compelling narratives in her latest book, SIGNS: THE SECRET LANGUAGE OF THE UNIVERSE.

Laura Lynne Jackson

Jackson told her personal story in her first book The Light Between Us. (See my review here.) She comes across as a credible, caring person using her gift to help alleviate pain and confusion of grieving people. Her spot-on readings have made her a popular guest on television shows and workshop panels.

Each chapter in SIGNS relates an individual story of how a crossed over person finds a way to keep in touch. People find coins, receive messages on cell phones, have animal encounters, see rainbows, hear songs on the radio, the list goes on. From the book overview:

There’s the lost child who appears to his mother as a deer that approaches her unhesitatingly at a highway rest stop; the name written on a dollar bill that lets a terrified wife know her husband will be okay; the Elvis Presley song that arrives at the exact moment of Jackson’s own father’s passing.”

The point of the signs is to offer and comfort. They are a way of saying, “I’m still around. I’m fine. I love you.” Sometimes they are a mean, “I’m sorry,” “I forgive you,” or “Move on with your life.” Certainly, a major takeaway from the book is the realization that death is a passage, not a tragedy.

Jackson also refers to everyone’s Team of Light. It isn’t just loved ones leaving signs, but guardian angels and guides. A sign may also be an idea that came from “nowhere” or a dream. I found Chapter 29: Surrender the most compelling. In it Jackson relates the details of daughter’s mysterious illness over a three year period. Ultimately, information and prods from her Team of Light guide her to the right doctors and treatments. It’s certainly a cautionary tale about the vaccine Gardasil.

In this era when so many people are crossing over, SIGNS is a comforting reminder that death is only a transition and love never ends.

40 Years of Channeling Bashar

Film Review by Dana Taylor
In some circles, like mine, channeling is No Big Deal. In the last forty years I’ve run the gamut of Edgar Cayce, Jane Roberts (Seth Books), Abraham-Esther Hicks, Lee Carroll/Kryon, and A Course in Miracles. Hence, the life work of Darryl Anka channeling Bashar lacks any credibility gap for me. (Also my closest friends sometimes channel, which was, admittedly, startling the first few times.) Though I’ve been aware of Anka and Bashar, watched some interviews and channeling sessions, I’ve not been a devotee. Part of the reason, has been I’ve been late to the party and not known where to jump into the material.
Darryl Anka
This week in browsing the films available at Gaia, I happened across the docu-drama, First Contact, written and directed by Darryl Anka. Anka lays out his life as a channel for Bashar, from first encounter to an overview of the whole Bashar experience. Anka spent a few years in the film industry, so the overall professional feel to the production is a step above much of the YouTube homemade fare. Employing actor James Woods as the narrator also raises the bar of watchability.
While many channeled entities identify themselves as angelic, ascended masters, or a collective intelligence, Bashar is an extraterrestrial, one of the “Grey” ETs, as they have been dubbed on planet earth. He has a whole backstory of his civilization that is the stuff of true sci-fi. Interestingly, I found that segment giving me the most internal push back. I recognized the successful programming of the establishment in my psyche to immediately dismiss such claims as ludicrous. Keeping an open mind can be a struggle.
Hang in there, because ensuing material regarding quantum states, space travel, physical reality, the nature of time, and more, are thought provoking for the supernal adventurer. Anka comes across as an ordinary person living an extraordinary life, not so very different from my friends, just much more public.
Anka and I are about the same age, both raised in Southern California. We were allowed to be open to multidimensional experiences, without fear of condemnation, shame or ridicule. Or being burned at the stake.
First Contact offers an intriguing peek into the world of channeling. It’s available at both Gaia and Amazon Prime Video. Reading the reviews at Amazon reveal the chasm of belief systems. While 56% of reviews give it 5 stars, 25% of reviews rate it with 1 star and often angry words (“trash,” “psychotic,” “fake”).
My advice is judge for yourself.

New Channeled Messages From Tina Louise Spalding

I first became aware of trance channel Tina Louise Spalding a few years ago when I read her thought provoking, controversial book, Jesus, My Autobiography (see my review here). At the time she had a small YouTube following, which has now blossomed to 23,000 plus. Trance channels are ubiquitous on YouTube.  All channeling entities must utilize the vocabulary and mental capacity of their hosts. From my observation, the ego and personality of the host can muddy the material. One of things I like about Tina is her apparent lack of ego. Her years of studying A Course in Miracles has freed her from the fear of rejection or the need for approval where most people dwell.

Tina is focusing on fulfilling her life purpose as a trance channel. She gets out of the way and allows the material to come through. She isn’t caught up in branding herself or being anyone’s guru. While she has channeled a group entity (Ananda), some celebrities, she’s mostly channeling Jesus nowadays. In January of 2019 she began a daily reading of the lessons of A Course in Miracles, which was followed by short commentaries from Jesus. Her daily discipline of recording and posting despite personal distractions and obligations is admirable. Surely she had some “gimme a break, Jesus” days. But she carried on and the material is now a full, viable companion to A Course in Miracles entitled A Year of Forgiveness, available as a Kindle e-book. A hardback paperback is expected in October. The original YouTube videos are still available.

Jesus gave her a few months off, but now He is back with two daily commentaries in a series which began on September 7, 2020. Spalding has committed to recording morning and evening messages from Jesus for 40 Days and 40 Nights. The intent behind the messages is helping humanity adjust to current events and upheavals of The Shift. 2020 is certainly a year of great change. Life will be forever altered for everyone at some level. Many of the spiritual community speak of the Awakening and moving from a 3-D existence to a 5-D world ala Kryon, Steve Nobel and others. The Jesus coming through Spalding paints an awareness that people are fearful and confused. Some may hang on to their sense of loss, whether it be a job, loved ones, or homes, and never get past the pain. This Jesus points out the mental programming that has influenced thinking from parents, school, governments, and media. It’s time to develop critical thinking.

40 Days and 40 Nights promises to be thought-provoking with possibly more than a few Aha! moments. The Jesus message of forgiveness, hope and love comes shining through.

If you’re looking for a fresh Supernal Adventure, explore the messages coming through Tina Louise Spalding.

When It Gets Real

by Dana Taylor

9:02 am of April 19, 1995 is forever etched into my memory. My cozy home in an Oklahoma City suburb suddenly shook as if, well, a bomb had gone off. Which indeed, it had. The walls, floors, and offices of the downtown Murrah Building blew to smithereens. Dozens died, including babies in the day care center.

(AP Photo/Bill Waugh, Flle)

A whole city of individuals was suddenly pulled together in a mutual cataclysmic event. The rose colored glasses of thinking we lived in a safe place were ripped off. Disbelief morphed into collective grief. Everyone experienced their own revelations as the days and weeks unfolded. Personally, I developed a sense of empathy for victims of random violence I had not known before. I’d lived a protected life, free from the horrors of war and chaos. When I read of bombs going off in foreign cafes or a suicide bomber destroying a wedding, I couldn’t identify. Those things happened far away. They were more like stories in movies. Not real. Suddenly I felt the reality of instant, random death and calculated hate. Real shit.

Fast forward twenty-five years. The global pandemic. It’s not just some disease in some foreign country affecting people who don’t speak my language. No, it’s here. It’s now. It’s real. Real shit.

And then this Memorial Day, it really hits the fan with the murder of George Floyd. The event is a perfect storm of people locked up and FED UP. Throw in some anarchists, stupid Tweets, and rage. Cities across the US and the world explode.

So, what to make of this? I’m sure sociologists better educated than I will analyze our collective psyches. But to me it seems the message clear: we are all in this together.

Disease and violence isn’t just something that visits other people in other lands. They are part of the human experience. According to the soothsayers, channelers and assorted spiritual teachers, we are in the opening decade of The Awakening, an appropriate moniker. A very rude Awakening indeed. This is all a slap in the face.  And yet, so necessary. Wake up! Wake up to white privilege and racism. Wake up to global annihilation. Wake up to ugly truths and well, more of that, real shit.

What to do? Play the blame game? Point the fingers? Hide in our homes and watch Netflix? Of course, there are no easy solutions. Yet, common sense tells me if we are all in this together, then we all have to play our part. This is a watershed moment. As individuals we make choices that ripple into our families and communities. No one person or organization or government is going to “save” us. We have choices. We can pull together for the greater good, one person at a time. Or we can further devolve into fighting factions. Which will it be?

There are certainly compelling arguments for doom and gloom. The chaos will continue. The wake up calls have just begun. But, we live on a planet of free will. We make the decisions that set the course of our individual lives. Collectively, we make decisions that set the course of the nations. It’s time to learn from the past, but not repeat it. Time to break the patterns, tear down the old walls, come up with fresh ideas.

Despite the headlines and upcoming uninspiring election choices, I see hope in younger leadership emerging with better ideas for the global community. Complacency is not an option. If enough people can meet the chaos with kindness over fear, with peace over destruction, we can witness positive, compassionate changes in our societies.

It took a while, but after the Oklahoma City bombing, community leaders came together in a cooperative manner.  A beautiful memorial now sits on the site of the destruction. The decaying downtown area was reimagined and revitalized.

Planet earth can also be reimagined and revitalized. It will take courage and compassionate action. No one is exempt. We are all in this together.

Bright blessings–

Dana
