The Healing Light Meditation

by Dana Taylor

Middle of the night stillness made me feel alone in the universe that night of 1982. I sat in my Oklahoma City living room rocking my fretful five-month-old baby, Cary, through another night of ear infection restlessness. We were caught in a cycle, rounds of antibiotic pink medicine. Seemingly better, then flared up infection again. Cary and I were both very weary of her illness.

I’d recently joined a healing prayer group at my church, a whole new concept to someone pretty much attending church to make friends rather than following religious fervor. Agnes Sanford’s classic book, The Healing Light, had been on the recommended reading list. Dealing with a chronically sick baby is incentive for reading about healing and anything to solve the problem. So, I dove into The Healing Light.

Agnes Sanford was a major figure of the Christian Charismatic movement of the middle 20th century. Raised in China by missionary parents, she picked up Eastern ideas of spiritual forces. Later, as the wife of an Episcopal minister, she witnessed the power of healing prayer. Her blended ideas, observations, and experiences became the basis of The Healing Light.

Sanford contended that healing energy is available to everyone. People simply have to learn how to turn it on. She likened it to a light bulb. If the bulb is in its socket, a power source needs to be flipped on to make it shine. Begging and wishing doesn’t turn it on. You can plead, “Please, bulb, please turn on.” Nothing will happen. But, connected to its energy source, the light beams.

She described the Healing Light and how to “turn it on.” It was on that dark night, long ago, I first connected with the Healing Light. As I rocked Cary in the dim living room, I imagined a shaft of divine energy opening up over my head. I prayed for help. I prayed for connection. My hands cupped over her ears and I imagined light rippling from the heavens, into my head and down my arms. The chair rocked and rocked and rocked. My head warmed and buzzed. Energy traveled through my body. That night only my right hand warmed and pulsed. Waves of energy rose in a crescendo and slowly faded. The baby fell limp in my arms and finally surrendered to sleep. I continued rocking a while, knowing something profound had just happened.

Indeed, the next visit to the pediatrician revealed her right ear was completely healed, the left improved. The cycle of infections was over.

That was the beginning of life-long supernal adventures in healing energy. Many modalities have followed, including Reiki and The Reconnection. But, it was Agnes Sanford and The Healing Light that formed the foundation of my life in healing.

The Healing Light Meditation is available on YouTube and also now ad-free on the HEALING MEDITATIONS page at Supernal Living.

Feeling More Multi-dimensional These Days?

by Dana Taylor
The night is dark, the covers warm. I rouse to consciousness. A wave of energy enters my head, tingles my skull and travels down my body. It swells in a crescendo of electricity, charging my hands and feet. A burst of energy jolts from my solar plexus, like a splash hitting the shore. The power diminishes and pulls back. I lie there and feel the fading ripples. Pleasant. Refreshing. Perplexing. I wonder what that’s about?
In the past year, those “energy blooms,” as I call them, have become part of my new multi-dimensional normal. I suspect I’m not the only sensitive experiencing new energetic phenomena.

A Year of Sudden Change

Like the rest of the planet, COVID-19 upended my world. In March of 2020 I was living in Honolulu, having moved there six years earlier as a new widow. I built a pleasant life. President of a women’s chorus, busy with rehearsals, board meetings and show plans. I’d found a metaphysical spiritual home at Unity Church of Hawaii and participated in a joyful, sometimes hilarious, children’s chapel service every Thursday morning. I met gal pals at restaurants before seeing a show or movie. And, oh yes, I swam in the warm ocean. Suddenly, that life was over. Within the span of two weeks, Hawaii went from having the lowest unemployment rate, to the highest in the nation. Hotels and restaurants shut down. Beaches and streets lay eerily deserted.
I isolated in my apartment, more fortunate than most. My view included the ocean and distant islands. On a clear day, I could see Maui. But, isolation is isolation. Added to that, pandemic stress caused a blow-up with my closest friend, tumbling me into sadness and confusion. Insomnia plunged me into a listless, daily fog. April and May crept along.
Trying to find my footing, I spent a lot of time in meditation. YouTube transmissions by Steve Nobel became a lifeline. (See post Beam Me Up, Steve Nobel). In some quantum physicy way, Steve manages to record energy-infused meditations. He builds an angelic power grid and sends healing frequencies into the ether. Or something like that. Steve’s meditations pack an energetic punch. Additionally, I spent time simply sitting on my couch, eyes closed, spirit open, welcoming Christ consciousness to aid in the healing of the planet through prayer. The days and hours floated away. I gave myself over to a Higher Power and incrementally grew in the process.
I also came together with new prayer partners through Zoom. We hunkered down with our lists of people in need, including a variety of Covid patients from around the world. Aunties, cousins, friends of friends. My mornings included an hour for the prayer list. Covid became a Supernal Adventure in prayer. There appear to be layers of susceptibility with Covid, both physical and emotional. Some patients require weeks of relentless energy treatments. We persevered with people later considered “miracles” of survival. I have some intuitive impressions about the whole handling of this virus, but I’ll keep them to myself for now.
By the end of May, I’d made up with my friend, but it was clear I needed to leave the island where my activities were at a standstill. At least on the mainland in Missouri, I could make myself useful with my older daughter’s family. I spent the summer in the woods, hanging out with my two oldest grand kids, swimming in their pool. Feeding the not-so-feral cats and raccoons. And I continued praying and sending healing energy.

Increased Multi-dimensionality

The expanded focus on prayer, meditation, and healing energy transmission increased my “multi-dimensionality” (new word I made up). I suspect I’m simply one of thousands of Lightworkers operating in “new normals” such as:
Enhanced physical energy sensations such as jolts, heat, tingling and mirrored pain. To illustrate, I picked up “ghost” shoulder pain in a client on my massage table. That guided me in working the area with healing frequencies, along with the mental images of healing the tissues and opening energy blockages. Once the ghost pain cleared, I knew we’d made progress.
Clearer information downloads and impressions regarding emotional connections to illness. For example, a friend asked me to send healing energy to her son, who had been in a serious motor cycle accident. Over the course of several days, the sessions played movies in my mind–the impact of the crash, the cycle crushing his chest, injury to the neck, organ damage. Each day I received different specific things to heal. One day it seemed I was holding his large hands, could almost feel the touch. As it turned out, he underwent a hand surgery that day. I came to “know” his personality and emotions during that period.
Light language manifestation. At one point a new spirit language circled in my mind and then gushed from my throat. I chanted and sang in an unknown tongue, accompanied by energy jolts. I recorded a few sessions and shared them with friends. Interesting and inexplicable.
Animal communication. That has not been a strong gift for me. But recently a friend asked me to send healing energy to her limping pet peacock, Blueberry. I pictured Blueberry and there was a moment when I suddenly connected with him. His haughty personality came through clear and strong. He feels greatly superior to his fowl friends. I saw he picks through his food to find some larger grains that are his favorite. I asked my friend about that. She confirmed she adds sunflower seeds to the regular chicken feed. I also saw some torn tissue in his leg and sent him healing energy. I’m happy to report Blueberry is on the mend.
Manifesting Material Needs. Whatever I need seems to come into my reality fairly quickly and easily. (And I’m not talking about ordering stuff from Amazon, although I’ve certainly mastered that skill.) The most impressive example is my current living situation. By the fall of 2020, circumstances pointed to moving to San Jose to be near my expecting-baby-#4 younger daughter. I felt my best bet was to place a well-written ad in Craig’s List. One Friday morning in October, intuition whispered, Post the ad today. I created a headline naming a certain elementary school, Do You Live Near….? On Saturday morning my now-housemate happened over to Craig’s List looking up the cat adoption postings. As it turned out, she got me instead of a cat. She rarely looks at Craig’s List, but “something” put the notion in her mind. I moved into her lovely hillside home in November overlooking the Silicon Valley. My room is cozy and there’s even a grand piano to play in the living room. Seeing a daily parade of wild turkeys crossing into the meadows is an added bonus. My daughter’s house is a four minute drive away. It’s worked out better than I imagined.

Blessings in Disguise

Though I was gobsmacked by the early days of the pandemic and certainly distressed with many unfolding events, I have to say, personally, I have been exceedingly blessed this year. The friends and family who contracted Covid-19 have recovered. My newest grandson joined his boisterous family with joy and celebration.
Connection to Spirit has strengthened. I’m taking “energy blooms” and enhanced multi-dimensional skills in stride. Social media reveals thousands of other Lightworkers are now on the planet quietly working for the greater good. If you’ve had similar experiences, feel free to share in the comments. What is your “new multi-dimensional normal”?

Ever-Flowing Streams: Christ, Reiki, Reincarnation & Me ~ A Spiritual Memoir

Energy Healing in the Age of Covid

by Dana Taylor –Part One In A Series

Like the rest of the world, my life has been dramatically affected by the pandemic. In March my activities in Honolulu came to a sudden halt. By June I’d left the life I’d established to be with my elder daughter and grandchildren on the mainland. Then, the younger daughter announced another child on the way and I moved to California to help where I’m most needed.
In the midst of all the personal change, one thing has remained constant–I pray for people and send them healing energy. My circle of spiritual sisters pray for each other’s families and other people placed in our paths. A Zoom prayer group emerged from my Hawaii Unity church connection. We faithfully meet every Wednesday afternoon from our various states and time zones to join in the quantum field and send healing energy.
Each morning, I sit in my bedroom prayer chair, turn on high hertz frequency music and begin a meditation to gain access to the multidimensional planes. With my list of names before me, I concentrate on a particular person. Usually a picture appears in my mind’s eye. I see some version of the person. Sometimes the picture mirrors what might be happening in present time. However, the image may be unexpected. Recently I received a much younger picture of a friend of mine, as if that is her true self. Often the image may be an area inside the body. Vital organs, blood vessels, minute substances, muscles, bones–imbalances and problems are revealed. A whole mini-movie might play out of what the body needs to repair and return to wellness. Riding the ribbons of healing energy is a trip on an information highway.
Lately, I’ve begun recording voice memos of the impressions I’m receiving. The stream of consciousness information is illusive and sometimes slips away when I try to write down thoughts after the prayer session. Often I send off the recording in a text message and the recipient can use their discernment as to validity of the information.
Illness is layered. Covid and cancer are prime examples of diseases that present themselves in vastly different symptoms in people. Why do some people get so much sicker than others? The media focuses on “underlying conditions” with Covid-19, such as age, obesity, diabetes, autoimmune disorders and more. Yes, those factors certainly put some people at greater risk. But, for an energy healer the layer beneath the “underlying condition” sometimes emerges. Interestingly, some of the severe Covid patients I’ve been asked to pray for have seemed tired of life. The sameness, the responsibilities, the burdens and disappointments have played a part in their susceptibility to the disease. So before sending prayers centered on the physical, Spirit focuses on soul healing. I believe for many their experience with Covid-19 will have an It’s A Wonderful Life effect. Just as Jimmy Stewart has an awakening to what his life meant to others in the movie, Covid-19 will give survivors a new outlook. Life is precious. Priorities will be examined, relationships will be nurtured or changed. Epiphanies and hard truths will be revealed. Hopefully, a new appreciation for life will blossom from the hubris of illness.
Many sessions do focus on sending physical healing energy to someone who really needs the infusion. One of my favorite people to pray for has been Andy, the brother of a friend of mine, Cynthia. I’ve never met Andy, but when Cynthia posted a plea on Facebook to pray for Andy, who was in severe blood level oxygen trouble, I felt called to send him energy. Some people are easier to connect with than others. For some reason I connected well with Andy. The healing zone is a timeless, non-local field. I know I’m reaching it when jolting energy and heat fill my body. Images and impressions flicker across my mind. I serve as a conduit for healing energy. Andy seemed like a boisterous, generally upbeat man. But now he was struggling for breath. The session took on a life of its own as the energy rose in intensity. Dazzling golden light and divine electricity flowed to Andy. Updates from Andy’s wife revealed dramatic improvement for him. Rather than succumbing to the virus, his body was able to fight it off. It’s probably a slower process than he would like, but Andy is getting better.
I’m more aware than ever of the unity of the great cosmic web we have together on this earthly realm. Prayerful intention has a radiating effect at the micro and macro levels. In this age of media cacophony and endless entertainment distraction, carving out quiet time to connect to Spirit is more important than ever. We all have access to the quantum field to connect to divine forces and project power and strength where it is needed. It’s a discipline and a skill, a path to true empowerment and peace. It’s past time for many to return to love.
Of course, this is an era when many are passing out of the earth plane. It’s not just humans, but also entire species, and precious pets. Another part of this series will deal with sending energy to the departed and their loved ones.
But, for now, I encourage you to get in touch with your inner healer and send positive energy to the people you know, ones you do not, and the entire world.
Bright Blessings,
Dana

House Call: A Story of Hope for the Chronically Ill

by Dana Taylor

My work as a Reiki therapist often involves chronically ill clients who have “tried everything” in their search for wellness. There are certain recurring themes I see in these people. Often I must choose my words carefully in expressing my impressions to them. I know that their world view and my world view are very different.
HOUSE CALL is a parable to teach and reveal certain principles of healing in story form. The tale centers around a young mother, Angela Mattea, who struggles with chronic disease. Her greatest desire is to see her ten-year-old son, David, grow to manhood. Her downward spiral seems inevitable until a day when a very special therapist is sent from “the agency.”
HOUSE CALL: A STORY OF HOPE FOR THE CHRONICALLY ILL is now up at on my YouTube channel. It runs about 45 minutes. I invite you to listen and feel free to share it with someone who may need to hear it.
Bright Blessings,
Dana

The Healing Diaries–The Lady at The Safeway

In the past year I’ve noticed a definite rise in the multidimensional aspects of my life and the lives of my inner circle of four Supernal Friends. My main gift is energy healing and knowledge as a medical medium. My ability to tune into more specific information that is often verified seems to be accelerating. My friends’ gifts of healing, clairaudience, animal communication, and spirit communication, among others, have also become more acute. My healing work usually involves word-of-mouth recommendations. Often I work on intuition inspired “assignments” from Spirit, especially in terms of sending energy to Gaia and earth-related situations. Helen Bozman, the Reiki therapist featured prominently in my book, Ever-Flowing Streams: Christ, Reiki, Reincarnation & Me, has re-opened a healing office in Moore, Oklahoma.
The four of us Skype from three time zones semi-regularly sharing our experiences. This year has seen a rise in the “did that just happen?” moments. I don’t feel free to share their tales, but I thought it might be helpful to share some of my own experiences. I’m sure we aren’t the only ones experiencing vivid dreams, visions, time bending, spontaneous channeling, remarkable healing and more.
I’m starting a series I’m calling From the Healing Diaries, which are the journals I keep as events unfold. I present them to encourage others to explore their multi-dimensional senses and know there are many of us having extraordinary experiences.

The Lady At the Safeway

Last Monday afternoon I had a strong urge to go shopping at our local center in Hawai Kai on Oahu in the early evening. Most unusual for me to drive out at night for a leisurely stroll through Longs and Safeway, but the idea came to me so strongly, I decided to go with it. So, about 7 pm, under a beautiful tropical sky, I fired up my humble Corolla and headed down the ridge to shop. As I got out of my car, I thought about the fact that I never see homeless people at that center. The homeless have become ubiquitous in Honolulu. They make me sad and I often carry a few bills in my pockets if I know am likely to have an encounter. But, it’s not as likely in the Hawaii Kai suburb. So, I was puzzled to see a woman sitting on a flowerbed just outside the Safeway. She had leaned back onto the grass and lay coughing. She wore a blue flowered sundress. She clutched an empty yellow Longs shopping bag in her hands.
I glanced down at her briefly as I headed for the electronic door. Was she homeless? A glance at her trimmed hair made me doubt it. She just didn’t quite have that look. Though she was coughing, I didn’t think she needed immediate assistance. One thing about Hawaii, people will simply stretch out on an inviting patch of grass if the mood strikes them. So, I kept on walking, but all through my shopping trip, I wondered about her. Was she homeless? Did she need help? As I checked out, I palmed a $10 that I would give to her if she appeared to be hanging around for money. However, just as I was exiting the store, I passed her walking into the store. In fact, she was almost marching in. She had the yellow bag slung over one shoulder and her flip flops thwacked against the linoleum with determination. Now standing, I could see her hair had been styled. Not homeless. So what was her story? I’d never know.
Fast forward to predawn. I’m in my bed sound asleep, dreaming. But was I dreaming or out in the astral plain? I recall being in a nursing home. I was in a woman’s room giving her a healing treatment. She lay on a bed. White blankets and sheets covered her body. I worked through the bedding, giving her an energy treatment. My hands hovered over her leg and thigh. I had the impression of a blood clot and worked to open it up and clear it out. I also spoke to the woman about some unforgiveness issues with her relatives. We discussed those feelings and how they related to her ability to heal. I felt healing energy charging through my system, flowing through my palms.
The “dream” dissolved as I rose to consciousness. I lay in my own blankets and sheets awake, still buzzing with the awareness of healing energy. This was new. I can achieve the same state during meditation and healing sessions, but I’ve never awakened with the energy flowing like that before. Then, my mind went to the Woman at the Safeway. Suddenly, I knew her story. She was an alcoholic. She’d been on a booze run to the store. I felt her desperation for the drink, the self-loathing and grim despair. She hated that she didn’t have the will power to stop. At an etheric level she seemed bound by white bands, like an unraveling mummy. Those were the bonds of her addiction. In my mind’s eye, I sent energy to loosen the bonds even more and allow her to break free of the addiction. They didn’t fall to her feet, but I sent her healing energy and hoped to raise her frequency to aid her ability to get out of her current addiction zone. I sent her healing energy until the power diminished. The high buzz quieted and my body lowered to energetic levels necessary to function in normal life. I got up and started my day.
Will I see the woman again? Would I even recognize her? Probably not. I don’t have a clear image of her face. Did my early morning prayer work have any impact? As much as I am encouraged when I can verify outcomes or impressions from my healing sessions, I have to move forward in faith. When a strong impression comes through or an urge to stop everything and pray for a situation, I’ve learned to heed the call. Our conscious minds understand only a fraction of what we’re doing across multidimensional realities.
Ultimately, I wish the Woman at the Safeway well and I hope I played a part in helping her get to a better place.
Bright Blessings,
Dana

Miracles Happen

by Dana Taylor

“Miracle”–an effect or extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause; such an effect or event manifesting or considered as a work of God.

“For those who believe, no explanation is necessary. For those who do not believe, no explanation is possible.” from The Song of Bernadette by Franz Werfel

Since 2005 I’ve been puzzling the mystery of miraculous healings, when one of my closest friends, Paula, overcame an “incurable” disease, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD), via two Reiki treatments. It took us many months to accept her healing had truly taken place. Eventually the word “miracle” was bandied about.  (Read either of my Supernal Series books to get the full story.) Was it truly a miracle? Something beyond human ability to replicate?  What if we had stumbled upon a valid, alternative approach to health and wellness? What if we were simply ignorant of the principles behind what we deemed a “miracle”? Perhaps we were like 17th century humans who have considered electricity, air travel, and antibiotics “miracles.” I’ve been studying “miracles” ever since.

So, of course, I couldn’t resist a book entitled Miracles from Heaven: A Little Girl, Her Journey to Heaven, and Her Amazing Story of Healing in the bargain books on a recent visit to Barnes and Noble. Written by Texas resident, Christy Wilson Beam, Miracles from Heaven, relates the difficult and inspiring story of Christy Beam’s daughter, Annabel. As the subtitle reveals, Annabel had been a chronically ill little girl for most of her life when she took a head first thirty-foot fall into the center of a hollowed-out cottonwood tree. While her parents, sisters, neighbors and emergency crews worked on rescuing her, she was transported to another dimension and sat on the lap of Jesus.

Christy Beam and her editors do a deft job of weaving the day of the fall and trauma with the back story of Anna’s debilitating illness. Christy and Kevin Beam live in the “silver buckle of the Bible Belt” in Burleson, Texas. Kevin is a veterinarian, Christy a stay-at-home mom with three daughters, Abbie, Annabel, and Adelynn. They were the perfect Baptist poster family until Annabel was struck with a disorder that prevented her from digesting food. Their journey through emergencies, surgeries, specialists, and vigilant monitoring is revealed, but not belabored. The resilience of little Annabel is inspiring, as is the unity of the Christian family that strives for joy and gratitude in all circumstances.

I don’t think it’s a spoiler to tell you Annabel not only survived the fall,  but that she emerged completely healed of her illness. The book is written well enough with engaging personalities that knowing the happy ending is coming doesn’t take away from the reading experience.

This healing is reminiscent of Anita Moorjani’s book, Dying to Be Me. (See The Gift of Cancer.) Both books relate near-death experiences followed by complete healings of chronic conditions. These things happen. They fall far outside modern medical models. Double blind studies are impossible. They can’t be replicated by drugs, surgeries, or protocols.

Yet, there are lessons to be learned. Simply being opened to the possibility of improvement may be a first step. The Beam family maintained a deep, abiding Christian faith that got them through the toughest of times. After seven years of dealing with RSD, my friend, Paula, had been told by her doctors that her options were finished. She should go home, get her affairs in order, and prepare to deteriorate and die. When I suggested a visit to Oklahoma and a few Reiki treatments, she could have rejected the idea in resignation and despair. Instead, she reached out to a branch of hope. She didn’t expect a healing, but perhaps some relief from pain. Instead, she received the “miracle.”

One thing receivers of miracles seem to have in common–they reach out to others with compassion and generosity of spirit. Annabel is noted for her kindness and hopes to work with chronically ill children. Anita Moorjani travels the world speaking on spirituality and self-acceptance. Paula is always helping others less fortunate than herself.

Miracles have a ripple effect. At this point, I can only say, be open to “miracles” and when they happen, don’t ignore them. Miracles are a second chance at getting life right. Live with joy, gratitude and compassionate action. Maybe we can all become miracle workers.

Bright Blessings,

Dana Taylor
